Getting Here

(Updated Aug 31, 2011)

Getting to SXM (St. Maarten / St. Martin) is easy. Most major US airlines fly to SXM, including American Airlines and American Eagle, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Spirit, US Airways, United Airlines, and (in season) Sun Country.

Air Canada, Air Transat, and West Jet serve the island from Canada, and Air France and KLM from Europe. Other airlines provide inter-island service, and there are also charters and now regular flights from South America.

SXM is one of the Caribbean's largest cruise ports. All major cruise lines visit the island, embarking from Florida, San Juan, and other cities, both in North America and Europe.

And last, the island has the largest megayacht port in the Caribbean.  Just about every megayacht captain is familiar with the island and will be happy to take you here.

If you have your own jet, Princess Juliana Airport welcomes you. Even if it's a 767... If you're a billionaire, your jet captain already knows how to fly here -- or can find out easily enough. Lots of billionaires, and of course millionaires, fly here all the time; that's who owns all the private jets at the Princess Juliana Airport.  Some stay here, but may take their megayachts to St. Barths or launches to Anguilla, both nearby.

You can save significantly on airfares from the US, Canada, and Europe; click the "page curl" in the upper right corner of your screen. Besides low fares, you'll learn about many other exclusive SXM-focused travel benefits that can help you enjoy a thoroughly fulfilling vacation here at a fraction of what other people spend. Check it out.

Much more on SXM is in the pages listed in the navigation bar (left).
